Description

Exeter House and The Pines, which includes the Oriel Evans bookshop, is a Georgian building that stands three stories tall and features a three-window front with cement render. The building has undergone some later alterations. The ground floor has a deep architrave and a plinth, with pilasters on the right side. It has a slate roof and brick chimney stacks at either end. The building has various sash windows, most of which have been replaced, but the second floor on the right retains small-pane glazing. To the left, there is a contemporary five-light shop front with a swept out cornice, flanked by pilasters. The center has paired entrances, with a six-panel door leading to Exeter House, a boarded door for The Pines, and a blocked opening to the right.
