Description
This building, known as House and Yesteryears, is a late-Georgian-style three-storey shop and house. It features a cream-painted pebble-dashed front, a slate roof, and a shared roughcast chimney stack on the right side. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front with plate-glass windows, which are wider on the right side, and a recessed glazed door located in the return of the left-hand window. To the left, there is a 20th-century half-glazed panel door leading to the house. All ground floor openings are covered by a deep modern fascia, which is painted only on the left side.
On the first and second floors, there are two-pane horned sash windows on the left side. The right side features a two-storey canted oriel window with four-pane horned sashes, topped with a hipped roof that has a finial. The windows on the second floor are shorter than those below. Additionally, on the left side, there is a rainwater head dated 1935, which likely originally belonged to the Palace Cinema.
The rear elevation, which is set back on the right side, is rendered and retains four-pane sash windows. The building has not been inspected.
