Description
The Ogmore Club is a late Georgian building that stands three stories tall and features a three-window stucco front, topped with a slate roof and brick chimney stacks at each end. The second floor has recessed 16-pane sash windows, while the first floor has an altered window flanked by splayed oriel windows, which were not present in a view from around 1916. These oriels have swept out dentil cornices and end pilasters, with horned small-pane upper sash glazing. On the right side, there is a panelled base, while the left side has a modern design.
The central entrance is flanked by modern shop fronts and features panelled reveals, a petal traceried fanlight, and a panelled door. Inside, there is a reeded architrave leading to the inner doorway, which has a Victorian lamp with lettering. The rear of the building has various later extensions that include sash windows.
