Description
Rossie Attire is a late Georgian building that stands three storeys high and features a three-window stucco front, topped with a slate roof and brick end chimney stacks. The second floor has recessed 16-pane sash windows, while the first floor has an altered similar window flanked by splayed oriel windows, which were not present in a circa 1916 view. These oriels have swept out dentil cornices and end pilasters, with horned small-pane upper sash glazing. To the right, there is a panelled base, and to the left, a modern base. The central entrance is flanked by modern shop fronts, featuring panelled reveals, a petal traceried fanlight, and a panelled door. Inside, there is a reeded architrave to the inner doorway, accompanied by a lettered Victorian lamp. The rear of the building has various later extensions that include sash windows.
