Description
27 Sea View Place is a late Georgian building that stands three stories tall and features a two-window stucco front. It has a plinth, rusticated quoins, and cill bands. The slate roof has wide bracket eaves and rendered end chimney stacks, along with modern skylights. The second floor has twelve-pane sash windows with lugged architraves and keystones. The first floor and ground floor each have one window with similar ornamentation, but the first floor lacks horizontal glazing bars. To the right, there is an Ionic columned doorcase leading to a recessed entrance on the first floor, which is accessed by an iron-railed staircase. The entrance features panelled reveals, a six-panel door, and a traceried fanlight.
The left gable end is finished in scribed roughcast and has horned tripartite sash windows. The rear of the building is slate hung and includes a later extension.
