14 Vulcan Street is a late Georgian, three-storey building with a basement, which is part of Nos 14 and 26. It features a scribed render elevation, a plinth, and painted quoins at the corner. The front of Nos 12 and 14 has two windows each, while the Penmaesglas Road elevation is asymmetrical, with a gable end on the left and a stepped three-window front for No 26 on the right. The doorcases at Nos 12 and 14 have panelled pilasters that are offset, with No 14 featuring a six-panel door and a traceried fanlight. No 26 has a similar but taller doorcase with a six-panel door.
