Description
Penylan is a late Georgian building that stands three stories high with a basement. The front features two windows and is finished in colourwashed render, with a plinth and grooved quoins on the right leading to a rusticated base. The roof is slate, with bracketed eaves and chimney stacks made of cement render. The building has small-pane sash windows, including bow windows on the first floor and a tripartite window on the ground floor next to a Doric doorcase. The entrance includes a six-panel door topped with a traceried fan light.
There is a later lean-to extension on the right side, which has a rusticated cement render front and a horned sash window. This extension also features a four-panel door on its roughcast right side.
