Description

Elm House is a three-storey building with a basement, and has four windows on its front elevation. The exterior is roughcast, with pilaster strips at the ends and a plinth. The building’s origins are earlier than the 1834 survey map indicates. It has a slate roof, with tall brick chimney stacks and wide bracket eaves. The windows are tripartite sash windows, with alternate splayed bays and dentil cornices to each floor. A boarded door is located on the left side, and a half-glazed door is on the right, both sheltered by a deep panelled surround.
