Description

The gatepiers at the entrance to the former Infirmary are made of painted grey limestone and consist of three parts: a high plinth, a short shaft that is chamfered and has run-out stops, and a heavy capstone featuring a coved cornice beneath a curved cap with a lunette panel on the front.
