Description
The Red Lion Public House is an inn located within a terraced row, featuring painted roughcast walls and a close-eaved slate roof with a renewed brick chimney stack on the right. This three-storey building has a three-window range. The top floor has small square sash windows with narrower side panes, while the first floor has similar but larger windows. The ground floor includes a doorway on the left, a pair of sash windows in the center, and another sash window on the right. The two central sash windows are smaller and have similar glazing bars. The doorway is not aligned and features recessed 20th-century double doors. All window and door openings are framed with stucco surrounds, with the first and ground floor openings having shoulders and vermiculated keystones. There are narrow sill bands on the first and second floors, as well as a raised plinth. The interior has not been inspected, but previous listings indicate the presence of some exposed ceiling beams.
