Description

The monument to Daniel Evans, known as Daniel Ddu o Geredigion, is located in the churchyard of Pencarreg. It consists of two chest tombs made of freestone, each topped with slate slabs that once had inscriptions, though these are no longer legible. Surrounding the tombs are wrought-iron railings featuring spike and cast iron urn finials. On the west side, there is a gate that is topped with a simple arched overthrow, which is decorated with scrollwork and a finial.
