Description
Graigina is a 2-storey house featuring three windows, constructed from whitened rubble field stone and topped with a slate roof, although the stacks are missing. The openings are slightly offset to the left. The windows are typical late 19th-century horned sashes with tripartite glazing, which are believed to be in their original positions, situated on either side of and above the doorway that has a plain boarded door. At the rear, there is a small stair light, a small-pane window in the lower left, and a recently added small window below the eaves. Additionally, a small lean-to has been constructed on the lower right.
Inside, the ground floor consists of two rooms flanking a stair hall, featuring boarded partitions and boarded doors, a result of interior reordering in the early 20th century. The room on the right side includes an inglenook with a wide recess to its right, which is said to have been the original stair's location. The dog-leg stair has plain balusters and newels. The roof is a three-bay structure, but the principals are all boxed.
