Description
Llwyn-cus is a two-and-a-half-storey, three-window house built of rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and coursed-stone end stacks. The front roof slope has two added skylights, and there is a single skylight at the rear. The openings have segmental stone heads, and the windows are late 19th-century replacements in the original openings, with six panes in the upper storey and twelve panes in the lower storey. The central boarded door is a replacement that is lower than the original, with stonework above it. At the rear, there is an added continuous single-storey blockwork lean-to, which has three small-pane wooden cross windows, with the right window being renewed. The left gable end features a single narrow pantry vent at the lower left.
Inside, the central entrance hall includes a full-height dog-leg stair with plain balusters and newels. The kitchen on the left retains ceiling rings for hanging pork and salmon. The parlour has a boarded floor, while the other ground-floor rooms have retained flagstones. Panelled doors are found throughout the house.
