Description

10 The Parade is an attached house, paired with number 9, dating from the 18th century. The house is built of painted stucco, with a slate roof and a renewed brick stack to the right ridge, and a separate brick stack to the left. It is two storeys high, with a three-window façade. The upper floor has three sash windows. The ground floor has two large tripartite windows, a sash window in the inner bay to the right, and a door in the outer bay with sidelights. The windows have marginal glazing bars, and some coloured glass lights to the left. The doorway has sidelights and a half-glazed door. Coloured glass is incorporated into the ground floor window margins. The door heads are slightly lower than the inner window heads, an indication of a substantial modification.
