Description
9 The Parade is a house, paired with No 10, featuring painted stucco and a slate close-eaved roof with a renewed, shared brick stack at the ridge between the two houses. Each house is two stories tall and has a three-window range. The upper floor includes three sash windows, while the ground floor has two large tripartite openings. The inner bay on the right has a sash window, and the outer bay has a door with sidelights. The glazing includes marginal glazing bars and some colored glass lights on the left, and the doorway on the right also has sidelights, with a half-glazed door. The colored glass is present in the margins of the ground floor. The door heads are slightly lower than the inner window heads, indicating that there has been substantial modification.
