Description

Vine Cottage is a house, part of a pair, built with painted stucco that mimics ashlar stonework. It features a slate roof with close eaves, a rendered stack at the right end, and a red brick stack on the ridge between the two houses. Each house has a full-height bay window with horned sashes on either side of an arched central door, which is slightly offset towards the outer bay. Vine Cottage retains its original timber doorcase, which includes thin columns, entablature blocks, and an open pediment. The door is a four-panel design from the 20th century, accompanied by a plain fanlight. The windows have small panes only in the upper sash.
