Description

Woodbine Cottage is a house, part of a pair, constructed with painted roughcast and featuring a slate close-eaved roof. It has a red brick stack on the ridge between the two houses. The cottage includes a full-height bay window with horned sashes on either side of an arched central door, which is slightly offset towards the outer bay. The original timber doorcase of the adjacent Vine Cottage has thin columns, entablature blocks, and an open pediment, while Woodbine Cottage has a simpler 20th-century imitation with strip pilasters and an open pediment. The door is a four-panel design from the 20th century, complete with a plain fanlight above. The windows have small panes only in the upper sash.
