Description

Battersea House is a house featuring painted stucco and a slate roof, with a brick stack at the right end. It stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range that is offset to the left. The windows are four-pane sashes, with the top floor sashes being shorter than those on Myrtle House and positioned under the eaves. On the first floor to the right, there is a large canted oriel window that has 2-4-3-pane glazing, a hipped slate roof, and a chamfered base. To the left, there is a door set in a stucco pilastered doorcase that includes an entablature and cornice. The door itself is a four-panel design with an overlight, framed in chamfered and stopped surrounds.
