Description

Red Lodge is a house constructed with painted stucco and features a slate close-eaved roof, along with a 20th-century red brick stack at the left end. The building is two storeys high, with the facade prominently featuring a very large canted oriel window that has long 12-24-12-pane sashes and a timber cornice. This window was renewed in the late 20th century and has a plain base that slopes back to the front wall. To the right of the oriel window, there is a narrow 6-pane sash window. On the ground floor, there are three horned 12-pane sash windows and an arched doorway that includes a 20th-century 6-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. The end walls are rendered, while the left end was originally rubble stone in 1977.
