Description
The structure consists of railings, gates, and piers, along with a retaining wall situated at the cliff edge. The piers are made of rockfaced grey limestone and feature plinths, bull-nosed cornices, and chamfered capstones. The cast-iron railings are arranged in long panels that display an intersecting pattern of circles and rectangles, with half-round upper and lower ends. The rails are set into low stone coping above a bull-nosed stone string course, supported by corbels that hold wrought iron scrolled supports. There are six stone piers and two cast-iron gates.
