Description
The Deer Abattoir in the park south of Dynevor Castle (Newton House) is a single-storey rectangular building constructed of partly coursed rubble with freestone quoins. It features a buttress on the south side and has a corrugated flat roof that replaces the original pitched pantile roof. There are two lunette windows on each side, fitted with iron bars and infilled with corrugated plastic sheeting. The east side has double boarded doors, and there is a second doorway leading towards the stream. Inside, the floor is stone flagged.
