Description
This fountain is located in the center of a terraced garden on the west side of Plas Dinefwr. It features an elaborate polygonal structure designed in a Romanesque style. The plinth is set in a large stone-lined tank. The solid central stem of the basin is surrounded by Norman colonnettes that have cushion capitals. The polygonal masonry basin displays low relief patterns, including interlace and strapwork designs.
