Description
Pant Glas is a late 19th-century dwelling house that stands two storeys tall, constructed from coursed slate rubble with painted cambered brick heads above the openings and a pitched slated roof. The front of the house features a symmetrical design with a central doorway, which is flanked by a 12-pane timber sash window on the left and a replacement 20th-century window on the right. This right window has a 6-pane upper section above a vertically bisected two-light design. The doorway is deeply recessed and has stuccoed surrounds, topped by a rectangular overlight. The original four-panel timber door from around 1900 has been replaced in 2000 with a later 20th-century timber door that includes a glazed upper panel. On the upper floor, there are two windows; the right window is a replacement 20th-century 12-pane timber sash that closely resembles the original, while the left window is also a timber sash. The building has not been inspected recently but is said to have been partly modernised.
