Description
Plas Farmhouse is a two-storey building with a colourwashed rubble front and a long slate roof, where the rear pitch is lower than the south gable end parapet. It features end stacks, with the uphill gable built out square and set off, and a downhill tapering stack that is corbelled over a lean-to. The façade has four windows, with the higher one located to the left, featuring brick heads and sashes with glazing bars on only one upper window. There is one bipartite window and three doors, two of which are sheltered under a corrugated hood at the angle of a small slate and rubble extension that projects forward to the left, leading to a walled forecourt.
The rear elevation is made of rubble and includes parts of three-light stone mullioned windows with drip moulds on the left side. There is a lateral chimney breast set back in the wall plane and another chimney with a corbelled base on the right.
