Description
Ty Mawr is a two-storey building constructed from whitewashed rubblestone, topped with a grouted slate roof and featuring stone end stacks, with the one on the southwest being larger. The rear of the building has an outshut. The front elevation has three windows, which are offset to the right. There are small 9-pane sash windows located under the front eaves, and below these are narrow 12-pane sash windows along with a ledged centre door, all of which have timber lintels. On the northeast end, there is one 12-pane sash window, and another window is located at the end of the outshut. Inside, the building has boarded partitions, and the roof is supported by four stapled collar trusses.
