Description

This is an early 19th-century milestone located by the entrance to the New Cemetery. It is part of a series that marked the former turnpike road from Tenby to Haverfordwest. The milestone features a gabled cast iron plaque that is painted white, with raised lettering that reads "10 MILES 970 YARDS TO TENBY."
