Description

This is an early 20th-century sundial made of ashlar stone, located on the west lawn at Ffynone. It features a broad octagonal platform and has a baluster design. The sundial includes a vase-shaped stem that is gadrooned at the top, an octagonal shaft, and a cornice. The brass dial is inset and is inscribed with the phrase 'Post tenebras lux 1723'.
