Description

The sundial at Gilston House is likely from the later 19th century. It is made of ashlar stone and is located to the east of the house. The sundial is mounted on a moulded octagonal pedestal that features a cruciform base, consoles, and carved heads. The head of the sundial is polyhedral and includes dials, topped with a lion rampant.
