Description

The Walled Garden at Gilston House dates from the 18th to early 19th century. It is a rectangular enclosure with curved corners, constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings and coping. The main gate is located near the north-west corner and features two square, conical gate piers with domed caps, which were likely added in the 19th century, along with an elaborate wrought-iron gate. Additionally, there is a long greenhouse range along the north wall.
