Description
The Walled Garden at Fernie Castle dates from 1821 and features a rectangular plan. The north wall is partly constructed of random whin rubble, while the rest is made of coursed, squared rubble with ashlar dressings and a flat stone coping that steps down the slope. There are gates set in round-headed openings, and a single glasshouse remains against the north wall.
