Description
The Walled Garden at Kilmux House dates from around 1830 and features a rectangular plan measuring 45 meters by 40 meters, located to the east of Kilmux House. The walls are made of flat-coped stepped rubble and are brick-lined on the east and west sides, with ashlar quoins. There is a pedestrian entrance on the west side that includes a decorative cast-iron gate. To the north, the garden is enclosed by semicircular-coped rubble walls, which still show remnants of steeply pitched lean-to glass houses.
