Description

Fernie Castle Bridge is a mid-19th century structure featuring a single segmental span made of ashlar stone. The bridge has a coped parapet that is supported by corniced octagonal piers, which are taller on the west side. There are similar piers at the ends of the splayed approach walls. It is noted that part of the south parapet is missing.
