Description

Images Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge for the Orielton estate, closely resembling Rose Lodge on Bowett Lane. The building is roughcast with grouted slate and features a hipped roof with a central stone stack. It is a single-storey, double-fronted structure with a dentilled eaves cornice. There are stone hoodmoulds over paired 8-pane windows on either side and a central door that is accessed through an added glazed porch. A similar small, flat-headed window with a rounded head to each light is located in the north end wall facing the road.

To the northeast, there are two grey stone gatepiers with plinths, plain top bands, and concave square caps. One of the gatepiers has a cast metal cherub statue, while the other is missing its statue and is under repair as of 1992. The cherubs, along with two others now on the Clock Tower in Pembroke, were originally part of the main house at Orielton.
