Description

This is a red-painted cast-iron telephone call box with a square plan and a domed top designed in the style of Sir John Soane. It features lunettes on each side, each embossed with a George VI crown above translucent panels that are marked "Telephone." The sides and front door have glazing made up of horizontal panes with marginal panes, while the rear is blank and does not display a maker's mark.
