Description

This is a red-painted cast-iron telephone call-box, designed in the Soaneian style with a shallow dome. It features embossed George VI crowns in lunettes above the glazed panels, which are marked with the word "Telephone." The sides and timber door have glazing made up of eight horizontal panes, along with marginal panes, all set in raised overall surrounds. The rear is blank and includes a maker's plate.
