Description

Large farmhouse in whitewashed rubble stone with slate-hung S end wall, concrete-tiled roofs and two-storey four window main front of 12-pane sashes with cambered painted brick heads and slate sills. Irregular bay spacing, two to left, two to right, smaller sashes above, two large horned sashes below, one each side of door in broad gabled whitewashed rubble porch with slate roof and painted brick arch to entry; second door far right, within lean-to porch against S wall of projecting range. S end of main house has one small upper window, whitewashed rubble outbuilding with double doors and smaller low outbuilding behind.

Short projecting range at N end has rendered stack at N end of main house and another on ridge, slightly steeper pitched roof, and has one sash on S side over lean-to porch. Beyond, a former outbuilding (now domestic) one and a half stories with east end black brick C20 stack and outside stairs. Ground floor row of three 12-pane sashes with brick cambered heads and two eaves-breaking 12-pane sashes above, concrete-tiled gables.

Front garden of main range enclosed by whitewashed coped rubble wall with two flat-topped gatepiers.
