Description

Treglemais Fawr is a large farmhouse constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, featuring a slate-hung south end wall and concrete-tiled roofs. The main front is two storeys high with four windows, which include 12-pane sash windows with cambered painted brick heads and slate sills. The bay spacing is irregular, with two windows on the left and two on the right. Above, there are smaller sashes, while below, two large horned sashes flank a door set in a broad gabled porch made of whitewashed rubble, topped with a slate roof and featuring a painted brick archway. There is a second door located far right, within a lean-to porch against the south wall of a projecting range.

The south end of the main house has one small upper window, alongside a whitewashed rubble outbuilding with double doors and a smaller low outbuilding situated behind it. At the north end, there is a short projecting range that has a rendered stack at the north end of the main house and another stack on the ridge. This range has a slightly steeper pitched roof and features one sash window on the south side above the lean-to porch. Beyond this, there is a former outbuilding, now used as a domestic space, which is one and a half stories high and has a black brick 20th-century stack at the east end, along with outside stairs. The ground floor has a row of three 12-pane sashes with brick cambered heads, and there are two eaves-breaking 12-pane sashes above, with concrete-tiled gables.

The front garden of the main range is enclosed by a whitewashed coped rubble wall, which includes two flat-topped gatepiers.
