Description
The walls to the walled garden at Trevacoon are high rubble stone structures enclosing a sloping garden that measures approximately 40 meters by 45 meters. The garden is now partly filled with 20th-century agricultural buildings. There is a larger later opening on the west side. The east side features an original doorway with a cambered head, which has the initials "SH" for Samuel Harries on a plaque above it.
At the southwest corner, there is a two-storey rubble stone building that has been gutted. This building may have originally served as a formal garden structure but is now unfinished or partially demolished and has been converted into a utilitarian space. The east wall of the garden used to extend further south and contains blocked remains of an arched doorway, along with a ground floor window to the right that features voussoirs and a keystone. There is also a plain window on the first floor.
The south gable wall is plain and may have been rebuilt further north when the building was reduced in size. The west wall is longer and shows traces of an arched central door and flanking windows, all of which are blocked and have had their voussoirs removed. There are also plain blocked upper windows. The north end of the structure has a plain doorway on the ground floor to the right and a large flight of external steps leading to an upper door on the right. The overall condition of the walls is poor.
