Description
The farm building to the west of Trevacoon is a late 18th to early 19th century structure made of rubble stone. It is two storeys high and is attached at an obtuse angle, overlooking a farmyard to the northeast. The roofs are covered with grouted slate.
The northern section features three upper loft windows and several blocked doors on the east front, along with a lean-to on the north end wall that has a loft window above it. The west rear wall contains blocked loft windows and one ground floor door. At the south end, there is a cart entry to the upper level, which is framed by a stone arch with a cambered head. The roof here has eight bays supported by collar trusses with pegged collars and closely spaced trusses.
The southern section has a north front with three doors, flanked by two narrow lights, and two rows of brick dove-openings above. At the west end, there is a large cart entry to the first floor, which is also cambered-arched and made of brick. The rear south side has two blocked loft lights and one ground floor door on the right. This section has a five-bay roof made of sawn-timber collar trusses.
The overall condition of the building is poor to fair.
