Description
This farm building, dating from 1716, is located opposite Trevessa. It is constructed of moorstone with cob on the upper floor and has a slate roof. The building has a single chamber with a lean-to carthouse at the north end and features two entrances to the farmyard. The openings have timber lintels, and there are two window vents, along with pitching doors and a small shuttered window on the upper floor. The roof is hipped. Inside, only part of the floor remains, and it includes 19th-century Cornish timber trusses, with slates torched on the underside. This building is notable as a dated example of a typical animal house with a corn and straw store above.
