6/147 Farmbuildings 15 metres south of - Trevego Farmhouse

Farmbuilding previously shippon and stables with threshing floor and hayloft above. Circa mid C18. Coursed stone and rubblestone with rubblestone repairs and concrete block repairs on right-hand gable end. Scantle slate roof with gable ends. 2 storeys, asymmetrical north front. Ground floor, on left, 2 window openings with shutters flanking double plank door all under timber lintels. Double plank door under later brick segmental arch near centre. Stable door to right. Above plank door to left of centre and double plank door to right approached by external steps of rubblestone and granite. 2 rows of square dove holes on first floor continuing across the whole front elevation. To rear, small slit openings and partly blocked openings. Projecting rear wing under lean-to roof. Roof of 10 bays with cambered, slightly chamfered collars to 4th and 9th principals. Other collars largely replaced. Included for group value with Trevego Farmhouse (q.v.)
