Description

The bridge immediately south-west of Couch Mill is a road bridge over the River Lerryn, built in 1871, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed of rubble stone with granite copings. The bridge features two 4-centred arches made of stone voussoirs, along with a small cutwater that has granite capping on both the upstream and downstream sides. The parapets are also made of rubble stone and slightly oversail, topped with granite copings. A stone plaque on the downstream side displays the date of 1871.
