Description
The Coffin Rest, gatepiers, and flanking walls to the churchyard and estate buildings date from the 17th to 18th century. The coffin rest is made of rubble stone, while the gate piers consist of three piers leading to the church on the south, featuring ashlar stone with plain granite caps. To the north, the garden is accessed through rubble stone piers, and to the west, the courtyard buildings are reached via ashlar piers. Curved rubble walls enclose the area, which has pitched stone paving. It is noted that the piers may have been reduced in height. These structures are included for their group value with the house, church, and estate buildings.
