Description
Treleddyn Isaf, also known as Lower Treleddyn, is a large farmhouse dating from around 1800. It is constructed from rubble stone with a whitewashed slate-hung front on the main range, a bitumen-covered slate roof, and whitened stone end stacks. The farmhouse features a two-storey front with four windows, though it may have originally had five, as a gabled single-storey outbuilding projects from the right end bay. The windows are modern plate glass sashes with slate sills, and there is a central door located in a whitened rubble lean-to porch that has a grouted roof. The outbuilding to the right is not slate-hung, nor is the wall of the house in the end bay. This outbuilding is made of whitewashed rubble with a grouted slate roof and includes a modern window in the end gable. The western end of the house is partly slate-hung with unpainted slates, and there is a small outbuilding on the western end with a door in the front that was once a broader opening.
Attached to the east is a two-storey service range that has an imitation slate roof and a large whitened stack at the eastern end. There is a lean-to porch on the left side, a window above it, and another window to the right, leading to unpainted stone steps that go up to a loft door. The windows and doors in this section are also modern.
