Description
Plyg Y Tywyn is a single-storey building constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a roof of small slates. It features a stone stack at the west end and a large square stone ridge stack. The front roof extends low over an open verandah with four bays, supported by square stone piers, which was added around 1900. Within the verandah, there is a half-glazed door on the left, followed by a 12-pane sash window and a small 4-pane window, then three half-glazed doors. The left side of the house includes fireplaces, with the eastern fireplace featuring a large timber-lintelled inglenook. At the rear, there is a porch on the right, a 4-pane sash window, and three additional windows beyond. The west end wall has two 8-pane sash windows.
