Description

No 1 Harbour View is an end terrace house that dates from the 19th century. It features painted roughcast walls, a slate roof with close eaves, and a red brick stack on the left end. The house stands three storeys tall and is similar to the adjoining No 2, but it has a three-window range of 20th-century small-paned horned sashes. The upper floor has square 12-pane sashes, while the other floors have 16-pane sashes. The sills of this house are slightly higher than those of No 2, indicating that alterations may have been made to one of the houses, likely No 2.

The centre of the house has an arched doorway with a 20th-century half-glazed door and a plain fanlight above it. The left ground floor window is misaligned, being set closer to the centre of the house. In front of the property, there are spearhead iron railings on a low cement plinth. The left end wall facing Quay Hill features a pair of 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor right and two sashes on the second floor.
