Description

The Caldey Abbey Shop is a commercial building that was formerly a house. It features a plain pebbledashed street elevation and stands two storeys tall with a slate roof behind a parapet. The first floor has two 4-pane sash windows, while the ground floor is finished in painted stucco and includes two 2-pane shop windows on either side of a central doorway, with the left window set lower than the right. The windows are adorned with moulded cornices. The doors have been replaced since 1977. At the rear, there is a late 20th-century lean-to addition.

The interior has been altered, with the ground floor serving as a shop, and the first floor featuring a three-sided ceiling.
