Description

1 Quay Hill is a two-storey house, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of painted roughcast and stucco, with a slate roof and a red brick chimney added in the 20th century to the right end. The house has a double-fronted facade with a raised plinth and decorative band. It features two 12-pane sash windows on each floor, and a central, four-panel door with a fanlight above. The ground floor is stuccoed and features a design imitating stonework. A flat-roofed addition was constructed to the rear in the 20th century.
