Description
Periwinkle Cottage is a house featuring white-painted stucco and an asbestos-sheet close-eaved hipped roof, topped with a very large red brick chimney on the right. The building stands three storeys tall and has a single window range. The ground floor, located at the extreme left, includes a door paired with a doorway leading to Anchorage on the left. The second floor showcases a 12-pane hornless sash window, while the first floor features a canted oriel with a timber cornice, 4-12-4-pane hornless sashes, and a deep apron. The ground floor has a shop window that is slightly aligned to the right with 20th-century glazing, and an arched doorway to the left that contains a 6-panel door and a plain fanlight. The left side wall is rendered and unpainted, while the right side wall has a slightly battered profile, indicating that it may be an older building that has been remodeled.
