Description

No 2 Lancaster Buildings is the left half of a pair of buildings, constructed with painted stucco and featuring a corniced parapet. The building has a slate roof adorned with red terracotta ridge tiles and broad brick end stacks. It stands three storeys tall with an attic, and each house consists of one bay. There are two gabled dormers located behind the parapet, a two-storey canted oriel, and a ground floor shopfront from the 20th century, with the house doors paired in the centre. The dormers are finished with red terracotta ridge tiles, and No 3 has 6-pane sash windows, while No 2 has 20th-century windows. The oriels were restored in the late 20th century and feature casement lights, with one on each side and a pair at the front. The house doors include overlights, and No 3 retains its original two-panel door.
