Description
Devonia is the right house of a mirrored pair of stuccoed houses, built with a slate close-eaved roof and a left end stack. It stands three storeys tall and is double-fronted, featuring paired doors in the centre with blank windows above. The building has raised quoins, a plinth, and shouldered surrounds to the blank centre openings. Each house has a gabled dormer with a 4-pane sash window, and a 2-storey canted oriel window on the first and second floors, which includes 2-4-2-pane glazing and opening side lights, all with chamfered and stopped surrounds and moulded cornices. The ground floor has a 4-pane sash window below the oriel. The paired centre doorways are framed by a plain stucco surround with a cornice supported by two console brackets, featuring 20th-century doors with plain overlights. The end walls are slate-hung.
